the visual and performing arts programming for the adults with developmental disabilities at Hope University. They come to Hope University because of their talent, interest or motivation in the arts. The Hi Hopes, a musical group of exceptionally talented performers, some of whom are musical savants, perform a diverse repertoire of over 400 songs. Ring & Sing is a hand bell and vocal choir ensemble who perform seasonal holiday music. Many students also show talent in the visual arts. Their artwork can be seen in the Gallery & Gift Shop, and is available for purchase or commission. Their artwork also appears on greeting cards, a yearly calendar and original pieces that can be purchased through this website.
We Depend on Contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations to help our teaching artists "Train the Talent and Diminish the Disability." Sponsorship Opportunities
Please join us in enriching the lives of adults with developmental disabilities by becoming a sponsor of Hope University's 10th Annual Gala Dinner and Dance, "Life is a Masquerade", taking place Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Anaheim Resort.
Hope University is a fine-arts program for adults with developmental disabilities that currently serves 66 adults, but is overwhelmed with admission requests from new potential students, and students coming from other organizations that have had to shut their doors. Our goal is to raise funds to better serve our current students, while expanding our services to reach more members of this special needs community. Hope U needs a permanent and larger facility to achieve this, and the proceeds of this event will go towards their building fund, as well as support the program as a whole.
You can make a difference in the lives of others by becoming a sponsor of this year's fundraiser with a donation of merchandise, gift certificates for products or services, or by making a monetary donation. You will receive a letter thanking you for your generosity that you can use for your taxes, and your silent/live auction donation or monetary donation will be viewed by the hundreds of guests in attendance.
Please contact us with any questions. Thank you in advance for considering supporting the students of Hope!

In-Kind Gifts
To provide the best instruction possible, and the most professional level artistic experience, Hope University is in constant need of items to enhance the talents of the students, and to maintain a wide variety of learning opportunities. Consider supporting students with a donation from the Wish List.
In-kind gifts are tax deductible to the extent of the law. A thank you letter describing the item, merchandize or services donated will be mailed to the donor. The estimated value is the responsibility of the donor.
Volunteer
Hope University's staff of teaching artists welcomes high school and college students, seniors and adults who would like to contribute their time to work directly with these adults with developmental disabilities. This is a great opportunity for those considering going into a related field to gain truly meaningful experience.
Staff also highly encourages those who have a skill that will help the organization, such as fundraising, public relations, marketing or community networking, to assist Hope University through projects that may be carried out remotely.
If you are interested in volunteering your time, or you have a great idea that you think would be of benefit to us, please contact
Janice Reyes, Executive Director
by phone at 714-778-4440.
